Acupuncture and Western Medications
As an acupuncturist, here is a conversation I seem to have almost daily: A patient is struggling with a health condition, and their Western doctor has prescribed a medication that the patient will need to take long-term, which they don’t want to do. Or a patient has been on a prescribed medication, doesn’t like the side effects, and is trying to decrease their dosage or go off altogether.
